Love and Marriage

And A Baby Carriage.

Telling you how I really feel

baby

Hey little baby: the majority of the photos you will see of mommy pregnant will be smiley, happy, belly shots. The reason is that I am very happy to have you and am so excited to meet you.
HOWEVER…
Right now, I don’t feel smiley or happy. It’s more like pukey and sleepy. So for that reason, and for the reason that one day you might be all, “my mom is so lame” I want to show you what I look like currently on a daily basis.
Save
This isn’t like, in the morning or a particularly rough day, its every day. That doesn’t mean that I’m not okay with it (happy wouldn’t be the word) because I am – it’s my job. I just wanted you to know. Just in case I need leverage some day. “Kid I was sick as a dog every day for the first ___ months I carried you in my WOMB and you can’t rinse your plate before you put it in the dishwasher??”

Feel better lady! Try those sea sickness bands, a lot of women love them!

Don’t worry, before you know it you will have a baby in your arms and the nausea will be a thing of the past!

A podcast I listened to suggested drinking the heavy syrup from mixed fruit cocktail things (or buy pears in heavy syrup and drink the syrup). I went to the store and bought Ginger Beer with 26g (I think) of ginger per bottle and that made a huge difference for me.

Oh Liz! Hey its Bobbi! I know how your feeling! I looked and felt like CRAP…. for weeks! It is hard to enjoy your pregnancy when you feel like that and all you can think of is it your due date yet! Hopefully it wont last long! My doctor told me it all tappers of around 10-12weeks! Mine tappered off (so far) around 8 weeks ( but i started it early & delt with it for like 4 weeks) Im hoping that its the same for you! I know its misreable! The doctor gave me a paper for B-natal lozenges and Therapops. I didnt get to try them but the website is http://www.bnatal.com there is a sheet of paper you print off and take to a pharmacy or buy online. Hope you feel better soon! Our babies are going to be so so so close in age! 🙂
