Here is a super easy toddler art project for Valentine’s Day. These glitter hearts take less than five minutes to make and kids love it because they get to stick their fingers in paint. I don’t know many toddlers that don’t like doing that!
The heart shape is made by pressing your paint dipped pointer finger onto the paper twice – once pointing left and one pointing right. Then, sprinkle glitter and draw on the arrow. We used white paint and purple glitter but you could use whatever colors you wanted, of course.
My little one gave his glitter hearts to his daddy and I’m thinking about making some little cards with him to give out to all of his loved ones.
Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.
