Wondering when does the Elf on The Shelf come back?
Every year after Halloween passes my kids immediately start asking me if our Elf is on his way back. Each and every time I panic and tell them I’m not sure.
Unfortunately for me, not knowing isn’t going to cut it. Of course I need to know when the Elf On The Shelf comes back!
This note is from the Elf On The Shelf Printable Kit!The truth is, YOU get to choose the date. But there is usually a common window of time to do it.
Although they can certainly show up just before Thanksgiving. Most elves return sometime between November 24th and December 1st.
Some want their elves to be around for an entire 30 days and others just want him there the month of December.
For us, we’re going to try and stick with December 1st going forward. It seems like an easy date to remember and means I need to have a solid 24 ideas ready to go.
We use a lot of the 40 ideas from the printable Elf Kit along with all the fun Elf Notes. We especially love using the naughty notice when our kids struggle with behavior!
Alternately, there is also a note when they’ve done something GOOD. There is a lot of fun stuff in this kit and makes the whole thing so much easier.
