These alternatives to “good job” will keep your kids feeling encouraged, loved and valued!

I am extraordinarily proud of my kids on a daily basis. At five and seven years old I’m in aw of how often I am telling them good job.

Sometimes my son is an incredibly sweet older brother who takes care of his sister with genuine sincerity. Sometimes my daughter losses the game we’re playing on purpose just so I can win. Other times they simply make it through a whole week of school without any morning arguments or refusals to eat breakfast.

They give me a reason to be proud so often and I love finding new ways to praise them beside telling them I’m proud or good job. If you feel the same, here are some alternatives to try next time your kid rocks something!
