Remember The Nester’s 31 day writing prompt from last year? Everyone linked up together and chose a subject to blog about every day of October. Last year I vowed to learn how to manage my life and I failed. I quit within a few days and really I wasn’t in a very good place to begin such an endeavor.
I wasn’t going to join in the fun this year until the idea of what I wanted to write hit me: I should do the complete opposite of last year. What that would look like is me just admiring each and every day. Being happy and grateful and energized for every day I get. That certainly would be the opposite of my feelings on life this time last year.
So, every single day in the month of October, I will write something that happened that day that made me smile. I want to look at this life of mine with joy! Today’s moment came in the form of my little girl saying two new words. She babbles constantly, but doesn’t say but one or two words. Today, she said ball and night! I was so very proud of my girl.
If you are looking for a 31 day topic feel free to join me and use this one.
