Guy and I went on a one-night, get-out-of-the-house, mini-vacation before he moved to night shift. We stayed at a place close to home called Chateau Avalon. All of there rooms are themed and we had stayed there a few years ago in the Tahitian Tree house. This time we stayed in the Mayan Rain forest. More pictures, of course, on my flickr.

Um…HELLO! Is this the Chateau Avalon in KC? If so, you were LITERALLY 2 miles from my house. How funnY! I pass the Avalon every day and pretend it’s my house and that I’m just renting it out to make money on it…
Then I go home to my real house and cry a little.
