On our fourth day in the hospital, when Paityn was finally able to be removed from incubation/skin to skin, people were aloud to hold her besides her daddy and me. One of the most anxious people in line to do so? Her brother.
We had Brady climb into daddy’s lap, get positioned, and Aunt Manda placed Paityn in their arms. The sight of my little boy, the big brother, holding and kissing his baby sister is one I will never forget. It was such a sweet moment. He just kept kissing her head over and over.
I hope he always loves his sister like this.
