Let’s keep it real here folks, its not all Easter egg hunts and photo shoots all the time. These kids are mad a lot – at least mine is. And mad for the silliest of reasons. Oh, I’m sorry I just kept you from falling down the stairs… I totally get why you’re so angry!
How To Make A Toddler Angry
-Wipe his face off
-Put a shirt on him
-Take a shirt off of him
-Lay him down for a diaper change
-Put his milk in anything other than a bottle
-Refuse to share your jalapeno potato chips
-Don’t let him drink soda
-Stand on the opposite side of a baby gate
-Don’t allow him to swim alone in the pool
-Don’t let him come in the bathroom with you EVERY time you have to pee
-Stop him from harming himself in any way ie: stairs, electrical outlets, lamps and things with sharp corners
What silly thing has made your toddler angry?

Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.
From my experience it seems that most of those same things also make a 19 month old angry, especially putting milk in anything other than a bottle. Can’t figure out how to break that habit. Anyone have a suggestion?

Oh my goodness! This just made my day, I laughed so hard at this! My little girl just turned one last Tuesday and it’s so good to hear I’m not alone!
I don’t mean to be mean, but I laughed pretty hard at this one…mainly because it’s just so TRUE!!!
There are so many ways to anger a baby…and we commit those “cardinal sins” on a daily basis too! 🙂
heck Riley is 3 and pretty much everything you wrote still applies to him! lol Aren’t kids great?! 🙂
i LOVE this post.. every single thing you’ve you said is SO true! what is it with these independent boys??!? dear god, i can’t wait to see what puberty brings.. LOL
