My kids loved this festive Halloween milkshake! The fall season is approaching and usually I fight it, but this year I’m embracing it. Since it’s still pretty warm outside, we’re kicking off our Halloween celebrations with something cool. There will be plenty of time very soon for hot chocolate and all things warm. For now, I’m sticking with ice cream!
Halloween Milkshake
To make super easy drink there is one secret: use an ice cream that already has the cookies mixed in. Instead of crushing up your favorite cookie, grabbing an ice cream that has already done that work for you keeps it simple! I used a Kroger brand called Chocolate Cookie Crumble and it’s so good!
Like any other milkshake, dump a few scoops into your blender along with some milk. I always use my little rocket blender that works perfectly for individual shakes.
To top it off so it’s festive for Halloween, we added a bunch of orange and black sprinkles. The kids loved having the rim of our mason jar glass rimmed with sprinkles and loved picking them off.
To rim your glass, just fill a shallow dish with water and a second with sprinkles. Then, dip the cup in water and then the sprinkles (just like a margarita).
Your kids will love this super fun Halloween milkshake!
