Love and Marriage

And A Baby Carriage.

Newsworthy!

work

I have wanted to share some exciting news for quite a while but have a little problem with jinxing myself. I’m totally superstitious. For about a month now, I’ve been going through the long process of applying, interviewing and waiting for a new job offer. I should actually probably refer to it as a promotion since I am not leaving the company but am moving to a different sector of the corporation. I am excited to say that out of 200+ applicants, I was chosen and will be starting my new work on November 23rd.

This comes with a couple of huge bonuses, one of which is a pay raise and secondly that I am leaving my sad, lonely, windowless office and heading to the best possible place to do work:

HOME!
My home office needs a bit of work and rearranging but that is a task that I am eager to take on. The thing that I may be the most happy about is that I have a window and can see daylight. My current office is in a warehouse they converted and it is cold and I get no natural light at all.

I am so very grateful for this job and to God for answering my prayers. Thanks to those of you who wished me luck on twitter when I asked (but wouldn’t reveal why I needed it). I hope everyone’s career paths are taking them where they want to go and those of you in the midst of a job search I wish you the best of luck.
