I’ve expressed my love of a good quote to live by before. A mantra to secretly (or not to secretly) chant to yourself. I can remember so many times going through sleepless nights with Brady and trying to sleep train and just repeating over and over, ‘This too shall pass.”
I am a quote person – I can’t help it. So I thought what better collection of quotes to put together than some to encourage new moms? If you’re looking for a little word of encouragement for yourself or a friend, take a look at these.
Uplifting Quotes for New Moms
1. Babies Don’t Keep – This is what you need to remember the most. That these days of screaming for no reason and peeing on you while you try to change a diaper are so short. Incredibly short. Tomorrow you are going to wake up and they will be six. Let the chores wait and snuggle that baby.
2. Follow your gut. People will give you a lot of advice and most of the time they really are trying to help. But never listen unless it feels right. No logic or book or doctor or expert can know what is better for your baby than you. Trust yourself.
3. You really ARE doing a great job. …even if sometimes you don’t think you are. You’re going to question and doubt a lot of things but in the end, you will always do your best.
What’s your parenting mantra??
