These RITZ Cracker bumble bees are a super fun and delicious snack to make with the kids!
My daughter adores fun shaped food and snacks. Every peanut butter sandwich we make has to be in a new shape and noodles are always more fun when they have a face.
Today we made these bumble bees for a mid-morning snack and we had so much fun making (and eating) them together!
My little girl is RITZ Cracker obsessed! Every time we hit up Dillon’s for groceries we have to buy a new box of Fresh Stacks. The Fresh Stacks are the best for her because they are smaller, individually wrapped packs she can just grab and snack on. They are also great on the go like when we are running out the door to pick up her brother from school or on our way to soccer practice.
I love shopping at Dillon’s. They always have everything I need and have the very best deals and online coupons. If you don’t live near a Dillon’s, I suggest you visit Kroger or any other Kroger banner store like Fred Meyer or Food for Less. They are all equally awesome!
She loves to eat RITZ Crackers straight from the package for sure, but we can also add lots of things to them as well like peanut butter, jelly, hazelnut spread or turkey and cheese. Even a little pizza sauce and shredded cheese! The possibilities are seriously endless.
Since she is so in love with these crackers I thought it would be fun to try one of their fun snack ideas from the Family RITZpiration. They have a bunch of ideas I’m excited to try.
These bumble bees were yummy and are so easy to make. Here is what you’ll need to make your own bumble bee snacks – you probably already have the ingredients in your kitchen right now!
- Original RITZ Crackers
- Peanut Butter
- Bananas
- Grapes
- Chocolate
All you need to do is spread your favorite peanut butter onto the RITZ Cracker and add sliced bananas and halved grapes. To really turn it into a bee, add three lines of chocolate on top. You can use any kind of chocolate you have – the spreadable kind, the squeeze bottle, even just melt some chocolate chips and drizzle!
This was fun to make together with my little girl. She loves to create in the kitchen! Even if it’s a little messy, it’s great for her to make something herself that she can eat. She is so proud of her creations! It’s totally worth whatever mess she may make.
She loved snacking on bumble bees this afternoon (of course she had to fly them through the air for a while first, buzzing around the kitchen) and ended up making all sorts of other creations, mixing and matching her ingredients. We can’t wait to try even more #FamilyRITZpiration ideas!
Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.
