Sleepy Popsicles for Kids

easy food

I have a new sleep hack for you today!

These popsicles are full of sleepy foods that will help your little ones rest. The fun part is, that it comes in the form of a popsicle! What kiddo wouldn’t say heck yes to a popsicle at 7:00pm?

I’ve mentioned the power of bananas to help kids sleep so we’re putting a few of them into a popsicle that I hope will help your kids fall asleep at night.

As a reminder, I am not a doctor or nutritionist or any other type of expert – I am just a mom sharing things that work for me. (affiliates included)

Sleepytime Popsicles

Here is what you need:

  • 1 1/2 cup of tart cherry juice
  • 1/2 a banana
  • 1/2 cup of vanilla greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk

Step One

Put all of your ingredients into a blender and mix together.

You can slightly adjust the amount of tart cherry juice and banana if one of the flavors is too strong for your kids – adding more banana or less cherry juice.

However, I would at least use one full cup of juice and half of a banana.

Step Two

Pour the mixture into your popsicle mold and let it freeze for a few hours. Hand them over to your kids and enjoy!

Quick Tip:

If the sun is setting and you need to make popsicles quick, keep a Zoku on hand. This thing makes popsicles ready to eat in under seven minutes – no waiting for them to freeze all day!

Answer these questions and you’ll find out.

I hope this great combination of super sleepy foods in the form of a fun popsicle will help your kids to sleep.

Good intentions, however the sugars that coat their soft baby teeth and linger during their sleeping hours will rot their teeth.

That’s why you have them brush their teeth before bed!

I have the same popsicle molds, but cannot recall their brand. I just remember buying them at a grocery store in Bainbridge Island in Seattle. Can you let me know please? Thanks 😊
