Yesterday after work there was a thin FedEx envelope propped up against the door holding the best birthday present I’ve ever received.
Friday afternoon, Guy and I left town to meet up with some friends at our annual canoe trip which fell on my birthday this year. As we were driving Guy asked me if I wanted my gift to which I of course said yes. He opened his wallet which made me assume it was money or a gift card. BORING! But it was folded paper. Hmm. I unfolded the sheet and found out that in about a week I can cross off number 27 of the Life List.
We’re going to the American Idols Live tour! I am unbelievably excited because of the obvious reasons, but also because I’ve never been to a concert so this will be my first. To top it all off, Guy bought VIP tickets so we can enter early and through a separate entrance and have access to our own private concession stand.
Is anyone else attending the concert this year or am I the only dork that is already planning on what she’s going to wear and what time to leave? I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures and share with everyone!
