Love and Marriage

And A Baby Carriage.

Weekend Recap

weekend recap

1. Attended a BBQ at a friend’s house and didn’t get to eat until 8:30 – empty belly equals unhappy.
2. Must have blocked the night out of my mind because it just took me 5 minutes to remember what I did on Friday.
3. Woke up on Saturday and hubby announced, “Today you will conquer the scooter!” (The big scooter that I so clumsily fell off.)
4. We drove to the park and I sat on the scooter shaking my head.
5. I started her up and took off around the parking lot – which is no big deal, done it before, its the stopping that I have a hard time with.
6. I stopped the scooter.
7. …and did not fall off! High fives abound.
8. Took hubby on a secret surprise date night to a burlesque show and dinner.
9. Spent $106 on dinner but had a truly amazing steak.
10. Fell asleep watching The Notebook.
11. Felt really brave and took the scooter out on a road other than the block around our house.
12. Hubby on his motorcycle and me on the scooter took a long, Sunday afternoon bike ride – highly recommend it.
13. Then took a long, Sunday afternoon nap.

*Hey! Did no one see on the last post where I asked for questions for an about me post? I only got a few. If you didn’t see it, hopefully you saw this. Ask away!
