There are so many new experiences that arise when you’re a boy mom that no one ever tells you about. Parenting a baby boy will certainly give you strength, a deeper understanding of unconditional love and some fabulous memories to take along with you as you watch your little boy grow into a young adult.
What No One Tells You About Parenting a Baby Boy
Boys Diapers are Harder to Change
It’s not easy dealing with a wiggly baby boy when it’s time to change their diaper. Even during the newborn stage when your baby boy moves less will be a task in of itself. From peeing on you when their little private parts reach the open air to poop that gets stuck on their testicles, you’ll surely find out quickly that changing baby boy diapers are much harder to change than a baby girl’s diaper.
They Learn to Climb Fast
No matter how old your baby boy is, they’ll learn how to climb and move their little bodies to get from point A to point B faster than any baby girl has. Boys have a knack for finding new ways to get their physical activity in long before they hop on their own two feet to walk or even learn to crawl. You must learn to keep an eye on that baby boy at all times.
Learn to Embrace Grossness
It seems baby boys have an innate ability to enjoy anything and everything gross in this world. From the day that they find their little private part and yank on it like it’s some toy and makes you cringe to the day that they start to take interest in bugs and all that jazz, no one tells you just how much grossness is involved when it comes to raising a baby boy.
They Love Hard
Last, but surely not least, baby boys love so hard. You’ll find that your baby boy is more about doing versus talking. They may talk later than a baby girl, but they’ll do a lot of other physical things long before a baby girl will. For the most part, baby boys tend to love hard and enjoy being supportive as well as a daily part of their parents’ life, yes this means you may have a permanent attachment while they learn to grow into cute toddlers that can walk on their own.
These are just some of the things that no one tells you about parenting a baby boy that I thought you’d appreciate learning more about. There are so many new things you’ll learn to love when it comes to raising a baby boy. From the joy they find in grossness to their ability to get into absolutely everything, raising a baby boy will surely open your eyes to a whole new world.
