Brady and I love making homemade play dough. It’s quick and easy and we never have to worry about making a trip to the store when we run out. The recipe I’ve been using smells delicious and is super soft. In my opinion it is so much better than the traditional store-bought stuff.
Homemade Play Dough Recipe
1 c. of flour
1/8 c. of salt
1/2 c. of water
1 tsp. of vegetable oil
1 packet of Kool-Aid
Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl, using only half a cup of the flour. Bring the water to a boil, then turn off the burner and add in the oil. Immediately mix the water/oil mixture into your flour mixture and stir. You will add in the remaining half cup of flour and knead it in until it is the consistency you like. You may end up needing to add in more flour as you go.
