This year I have two parties to plan back to back. Having children with birthdays 18 days apart creates just a little bit of a dilemma. Especially when they of are the opposite sex and I’m sure will be unable to agree on a theme. So who knows how the next few years will go down exactly, but I do plan on hosting joint birthday parties after we make it through this year.
This year, Paityn goes first with a Pretty in Pink soiree.
The theme is simple: pink, pink and more pink. Then throw in some roses.
Brady is requesting a Avenger’s party. Who knows how many times he will change his mind by June by I’m ready to adapt if he comes up with something else.
This is another relatively easy theme, except finding someone to make that cake on the left. That isn’t so easy. I’m still on the prowl though and my fingers are crossed. I think that photo op in the middle is adorable and I hope I can pull one off similar to it.
So here I go to plan two parties within two weeks of each other. Wish me luck, guys, I’m gonna need it. 🙂
Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.

My brother and I have birthdays 10 days apart so we frequently had combines parties! I’ve seen some really cute combined party though, like pirates and princesses! there are some great combined ideas on etsy (for the future).
