My kids dislike most vegetables. It’s not something I like to say, but it’s the truth and I think a lot of parents can say the same. That doesn’t mean they don’t eat veggies though, I just have to sneak them in when they don’t know it’s coming.
Which is how I came up with this yummy chocolate milkshake. My little ones would never eat spinach on a normal day, but when it’s hiding behind the great flavor of TruMoo they never know it’s there. There are so many benefits behind this leafy green vegetable and I am so happy I found a way to add it in their diets.
Sneaky Chocolate Spinach Milkshake
My five-year-old gobbled it up and asked me for more. Win! Here is how to make it:
- 1 cup of TruMoo Calcium Plus
- 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- A large handful of fresh spinach leaves
Add all of your ingredients in your blender and mix until smooth. It’s so easy! I try to add the spinach leaves as close the the blades as possible so they are completely chopped up. So, if you are using a regular blender, then add them in first.
