My family spends most of our weekend days at the baseball field. My son loves to play on his competitive youth team and my husband is out there with him, coaching. My daughter and I spend our time cheering him on from the bleachers, her mostly playing with her friends and digging in the dirt. We have so much fun.
We can end up spending an entire day there and she certainly cannot eat on junk from the concession stand all day every weekend. If so, girlfriend would eat nothing but popcorn, soft pretzels and candy. That can’t happen.
So I have to pack and plan and make sure I have better options for her… Snacks that she likes, that have an actual nutritional value to them and that I can grab and go and eat without silverware. Which leads us straight to Stonyfield® Organic Kids® yogurt.
It’s a super easy grab-and-go snack, especially when we have really early morning games and we need to eat something on the way. This is the easiest way for me to get protein, calcium and vitamins in their bellies.
We always have a small cooler filled with ice for water and juice so we just toss them in and they stay cool all day. BUT, these are perfect to freeze! That way, you can toss them in your bag and eat when they defrost.
I’m also really diligent about how much sugar my kids are eating. It is a constant battle to be honest, so I love that last year, Stonyfield announced a sugar reduction across its yogurt portfolio – and it started with Stonyfield® Organic Kids®, featuring between 25% – 40% less sugar than the leading kids’ yogurt.
Stonyfield® Organic Kids® yogurts are certified organic and Non-GMO Project verified so I know there are no toxic persistent pesticides, artificial hormones or antibiotics.
My kids favorite is Blueberry but there are several other delicious flavors like pear spinach mango, vanilla and strawberry.
My mom life is made so much easier when there are things that I can feed my kids quick, easy and on the go that I know are good for them! I wish everything was that simple.
