Christmas Cinnamon Roll Waffles
We always have cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning. This year I’m thinking of updating our holiday breakfast with these cinnamon roll waffles instead. They are so easy, it’s ridiculous!
Do you have a waffle iron? If not, why not? You can make so many recipes with this one kitchen tool, including delicious lunch and dinner foods. I’ve had the same one for years, and it’s as perfect now as ever. This waffle iron from Cuisinart has thousands of positive reviews.
Prep your waffle iron.
There are lots of nooks and crannies in a waffle maker. In order to get every spot covered, I use my favorite silicone pastry brush to lightly cover it completely with either melted butter or oil.
The brush will get down in all those little wells and do a great job of coating it. I don’t use cooking spray because I found it doesn’t work as well.
How To Make Christmas Cinnamon Roll Waffles
Making these is so very easy. You simply spray your waffle iron, place the cinnamon rolls four at a time and squeeze shut to cook. Leave them for a couple of minutes then take off to ice and decorate with sprinkles.
How To Clean A Waffle Iron

!. Make sure it’s unplugged and has cooled down, but not completely cold. Personally, I’ve found a slightly warm surface makes the cleanup easier.
2. Wipe the inside down with a dry paper towel and brush away crumbs.
3. Go over the inside with a damp towel and let it air dry.
4. Wipe down the outside with a clean towel. If there is obvious batter or other sticky goo, you may need to use a bit of gentle soap. (Never submerge your waffle maker!)
