School is back in session for a new year. It’s exciting to see my kids start in a new classroom with a new teacher and new friends to make. As much as I miss our lazy summer days, it is nice to get back into a more routined day.
But I’ll admit, our mornings are a bit hectic. Try as I might, I am usually scrambling at the last minute to get my daughter to just eat at least half her breakfast and get my son to find his left shoe.
For us moms, the things we need are usually last on the list. Like my morning coffee.
So often by the time I get around to my first cup, it’s cold. And since I despise reheated coffee, I use this simple recipe to make my cold morning coffee perfect.
Coffee Cream Ice Cubes
These Seattle’s Best coffee cream ice cubes are easy to make and keep in the freezer for when you need them.
All you do is fill an ice tray with half and half or your favorite coffee creamer and sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Drop 2 or 3 of them in your coffee and voila! A perfect cup of iced coffee. Even on the busiest of mornings we can still have The Best Day Ever.
There are lots of fun coffee recipes at Seattle’s Best Best Day List. You can download recipes, fun lunchbox notes and a coupon. I will be keeping these coffee cream ice cubes in my freezer all year long!
