Here is an easy and quick way to make vanilla rice pudding. If you have a craving for this sweet treat, I found a way to make it fast!
My kids love to help me in the kitchen so we made this together. We’re partnering with The UNCLE BEN’S® Brand on this as part of the Ben’s Beginners™ program, a movement that inspires healthy beginnings by encouraging families to cook together.
Easy Vanilla Rice Pudding
Ingredients you will need:
- 1 cup of UNCLE BEN’S® READY RICE®. This is the secret ingredient to getting your pudding fast because this rice only takes 90 seconds to cook!
1 pkg. of instant vanilla pudding1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon (optional)
Directions: In a sauce pan, beat your egg.
Then, slowly add in your milk on medium heat.
Once the milk is blended, add the pudding mix and stir for two minutes.
Add the rice and bring to a boil. Once it boils, take it off the burner. Let it cool on the stove for about 10 minutes. Then, pour it into a bowl and let it sit in the fridge until it’s cool. Optional: sprinkle cinnamon on top.
All done! See, I told you it was easy.
UNCLE BEN’S is hosting a cooking contest to earn a cafeteria makeover for your school! To enter the Ben’s Beginners™ Cooking Contest, parents with children in Kindergarten through eighth grade can submit photos of their families’ preparing a rice-based dish together.
