Getting Rid of Back To School Germs

My son is about to start Kindergarten! I am full of all the mommy emotions – worry, fear, sadness, nostalgia… which I hear is totally normal. My baby is growing up for goodness sake!

I have one major worry beyond how well he will listen, make friends and follow the rules.

I’m concerned about all the new germs he is going to be bringing home. It seems each year kids go back to school and get sick within the first few weeks and I would really love for my son to not be one of them.

Clorox-4

Most of it is out of my control, honestly. I’ll have to leave it up to his teacher to help remind him and the other children to cover their mouth when they cough, wash their hands frequently, and keep the classroom clean. (That’s a lot of work for one teacher!) So I’m determined to make sure that the things that are in his possession are germ free. Luckily, I have Clorox to help me out with that.

Clorox-3

I don’t recall my parents ever cleaning my lunch box, but that is the first thing I’ll be making sure stays germ-free. After all, several hands may touch it, it is in a small space confined with other people’s things, and sometimes sits on the floor or the ground.

This is super easy with Clorox® Clean Up Spray – use it only on hard plastic surfaces by just spraying a little on a rag and wipe down the front and the inside or I wipe them down with Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes.

Clorox-2

This year Clorox is partnering with DonorsChoose.org to donate $100,000 towards supplies for students in need and you can help! For every $5 you spend on Clorox, Hidden Valley and Glad Products, you’ll receive $1(up to $5) that you can redeem for yourself or donate to DonorsChoose.org to help others in need.

Isn’t that awesome? All you need to do is shop, then take a picture of your receipt and upload it. You can read all the details of this awesome program at www.cloroxforshcools.com.
