This time last year I was already starting to declare that I would absolutely be decorating the house for fall. The next thing I know the autumn season is coming around again and I realize I still have no decor.

For me, I have two large wooden shelves in my living room that currently have very spring/summer type of decor. I replaced my gold pineapple with a bright orange pumpkin (it’s covered in sequin and so much fun!)
I replaced my white and blue happy sign with an orange one with a fall saying. I also added a brown and green owl!
Add a fall scented candle
There is almost nothing that brings the season of fall into your house like a candle. There is an enormous candle selection at At Home. I was completely obsessed with the Cinnamon Streusel scent.
Add fall colored pillows
The final super simple tip to making your house ready for fall (or any season) is to add new throw pillows. It’s a fun way to add a pop of color for sure. I chose some really beautiful cranberry red pillows since they reminded me of fall but I felt like I could also use them again at Christmas. It’s a double win!
