Our Easter Sunday was incredibly laid back. We basically had no plans except for Matthew to have an egg hunt outside, which ended up being inside due to the rain. Guy and I had been talking about our past Easters and traditions that our families used to have when we were younger. I told him about our baskets that we left out for the Easter bunny the night before, going to church, having a big lunch, and getting a special new dress just for Easter Sunday. So Sunday morning I was still asleep in bed and I felt something on my chest, I thought one of the dogs had come up to snuggle but I squinted my still very heavy, sleepy eyes and saw a box. Guy said, “Happy Easter” and I opened it in the dark. Inside was a new Easter dress.
Your husband buying you a gift? Great. Your husband listening to you and making little mental sticky notes? Amazing.
