I love baby showers. There is just something about the joy of someone about to have a brand new human come into the world. It’s magical.
It is one time that everyone is just genuinely happy and excited for the future.
My days of having baby showers are behind me but that doesn’t mean I won’t continue to participate in my fair share of baby parties.
Now they are getting more and more fun and less and less rubber ducks and baby blue bottles. We are seeing more fun baby sprinkles and lots more mom and dad shared showers. I love when dad partakes in the festivities, hello, he’s having a baby, too!
I partnered with Basic Invite to show you some of the most fun, contemporary, modern, totally not at all cheesy baby shower invitations. Their invites are completely customizable and right now are 40% off if you use code BABY40.
Baby is Brewing Invitation
I love this one because it’s fun for all the guys to join in on and it is an invitation that says, we’re here to have a good time and celebrate this new baby.
Burgers, Brats and Baby Talk
Another super adorable invitation that makes everything low key. No need to wear a dress or leave the kids at home, we’re having a BBQ and welcoming baby!
Baby Sprinkle
I really like the new trend of baby sprinkles, something a little lighter than a full blown shower for a second or third-time mama. Maybe we don’t need a ton of items but everyone with a new baby deserves a little party.
Baseball Theme
Maybe I’m biased because we are huge baseball fans over here, but I love this one. (There is also a super cute baby announcement that says meet our new teammate. So cute!)
Woodland Creatures
This is so beautiful I could frame it! I love that this one is elegant and would be perfect for a gender neutral party.
It doesn’t matter how you celebrate baby or what shower theme you pick, the important thing is that mom and dad and the whole family is pampered and loved. If you are looking for a fun shower invitation, we know Basic Invite will have the perfect one!
Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.
