This simple DIY dog popsicle recipe will cool your pet off on hot days!
I am feeling pretty proud of myself at the moment. I made a treat that my dog is in love with and it’s so simple and easy you’ll be able to make it today, too. I’ll bet you have the ingredients in your cabinets right now.
Dog Popicles
Yep, that’s it: just broth and milk bones. You can choose beef or chicken or do a few of each like I did. You will need the medium sized milk bones if you are using an ice cube tray as the mold. (These dog silicone molds are adorable, too.)
All you need to do is poor the broth into an ice cube tray and let them freeze until they are almost solid. Then, stick a milk bone in. I’ll admit, this part is a little tricky and the bones tend to lean backwards but that’s OK. The cool thing is that your dog could absolutely care less what these things look like.
I even just left a few as cubes I could pop out and give to him outside. And yes, this is definitely an outdoor treat.
My Giant Schnauzer loooooooves these things.
If your dog is as hot this summer as the rest of us are, let them try this easy and (apparently) delicious pup-sicle recipe!
