How Long To Boil Every Kind of Pasta

dinner time

Here’s a quick infographic for how long to boil pasta. Each type takes a different length of time to cook and I’m always getting it confused.

Keep this handy so you know exactly how long to cook your pasta noodles to perfection.

Cooking pasta of all kinds is super easy, but cook it too long and suddenly they have turned to mush.

Should I boil pasta on high or medium heat?

High. You should use a large pan so the water can stay on high without boiling over.

Do you stir pasta while cooking?

Yes, to avoid clumping, stir the cooking pasta often.

Should you rinse pasta after cooking?

No. You only rinse your pasta if it is going into a cold dish like pasta salad. All Recipes does an awesome job of explaining in detail why you shouldn’t rinse your pasta.

Save this infographic to your photos and to your Pinterest boards so you’ve got it next time you need it!

I have never tasted better pasta than Gelso&Grand. It’s just perfect) I visited this place and realized that I would never cook this at home. I discovered my preference for eating in restaurants and now I can’t help myself. If you want, you can visit their website and find out the address or book a table there, everything is very convenient.

Gelso&Grand is the best spaghetti I’ve ever had. After going here, I knew I could never replicate the dish at home; it’s that good.

Hi! Listen, I remembered about Pyrex, you know, those guys who make cool glassware. They seem to have everything cool: pots, baking dishes, and everything so heat-resistant that it’s just awesome. But I came across reviews, and sometimes people complain about their customer service. If you’re interested, check out https://pyrex.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html you can read what people write there. What do you think about Pyrex?
