A Joyful Morning Sugar Scrub Recipe

diy

I am so excited about this new sugar scrub recipe my sister-in-law help me create.  I think it is the perfect morning scrub to use to jump start your day.  Don’t we all need a little joy in the morning?

I’ve taken your average sugar scrub recipe and added two of my favorite essential oils.

Also, if you’re looking for oil accessories then you’ve gotta check out The Oily Store where you can find a beginner kit and all the accessories you need to start making awesome stuff.

Grapeseed oil is a good source of essential fatty acids and vitamin E.  It’s moisturizing and can help strengthen and repair damaged or broken capillaries and blood vessels.

Joy is uplifting, mood boosting and calms emotions… all things I definitely need before starting my day!

Citrus Fresh is an antioxidant that helps combat anxiety and brings about a sense of well-being and creativity.

Directions

  1. Mix your sugar and grapeseed oil together until you get the right consistency.
  2. Add food coloring next.
  3. And save the essential oils for last.

Isn’t that so easy?  So easy in fact, my three year old can make it. 🙂

Now I’m thinking that I need to get an entire “joyful morning” kit together with a body wash and lotion recipe.
