Summer is almost here! I couldn’t be more excited and neither could my kids. A break from pre-school, trips to the pool and camping. Who doesn’t love summer?
Of course with every new season, comes shoe shopping. In winter we need boots, in spring we need new sneakers and in summer we need something we can cover in dirt and water.
I have quite a long list of requirements for the perfect summer shoes. You need something that is easy to get on and off, that don’t require socks, that don’t slip when you walk through water, or hurt your feet. And they should be cute. And easy to clean. That seems pretty impossible, doesn’t it?
I thought so too until I tried the new Stride Rite Made 2 Play Collection . All of the shoes in this line have a dirt shedding sole and are completely machine washable. No more having to replace shoes all summer long because they are ruined so quickly!
Paityn has the Made2Play Snorkel Sandal and they are perfect when she’s outside playing with her water table. She splashes water everywhere, covering the concrete turning it a slippery mess. The only way I feel confident that she can play and have fun without slipping is if she’s wearing these. I love having them around.

They even have a cute little monster on the soles of the shoes to help guide your kids as to which goes on the left or right. Isn’t that so smart? There’s also a tab on the back to help little ones put them on all by themselves (a skill we are trying hard to teach her right now).
You’re going to adore these shoes and I’m really excited to be able to give you all a promo code so you can get your own pair for 20% off! Use code LOVE20 at checkout online or find a store near you at http://www.striderite.com/en/stores.
