When you start approaching 30 some things start to go downhill, I guess. I’ve got wrinkles on my face, grey hairs sprouting, eyelids sagging and apparently, I can’t see very well.
Can you read that fourth line down?
Umm… no.
Ok, line number three?
Umm… no.
Ok, how about this?
Umm… Q… Q?… Q?
Everything I could actually read looked like Q’s to me and apparently, that was wrong. Luckily for me though, I can see really great far away, so the only time I have to wear these things is when I’m reading, writing or on the computer. Which is what I do all day long.
When I picked up my glasses it was amazing! I kept looking at things without the glasses, then putting them on to see the difference. Incredible! Things went from totally legible but blurry to crystal clear. What a difference a little pair of spectacles makes!
There’s no telling how long I’ve been squinting and giving myself headaches for no good reason.
Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.
