Declutter Your Entire House in 30 Days

home

Get your whole house clutter free in just one month!

We had such a blast making our last 30 day declutter challenge we decided to make another one.

Scroll down to grab a printable checklist you can use and check out my entire Declutter Course!)

I can’t tell you how much having a decluttered home improves my life. I’m more relaxed, able to focus and generally less stressed. As someone who suffers from anxiety, this makes a huge difference in my happiness.

Clutter Free in 30 Days

It doesn’t seem like clutter and anxiety have any correlation but here are plenty of studies that show clutter is making us sad and even overweight. (I write more about that over here.)

Go through the list and get rid of things that are:

  • old
  • broken
  • never used
  • duplicates
  • unwanted

Here we go!

  1. TV stand
  2. Book collection
  3. Movies/CDs
  4. Bathroom cabinets
  5. Shower toiletries
  6. Makeup
  7. Jewelry
  8. Purse and wallet
  9. Hallway closet
  10. Bedroom end table
  11. Your clothes
  12. Your spouses clothes
  13. Your kids clothes
  14. Kid toys
  15. Office desk
  16. Fridge
  17. Freezer
  18. Medicine cabinet
  19. Under the kitchen sink
  20. Utensils
  21. Dishes
  22. Pots and pans

  24. Pantry
  25. Spices
  26. Junk drawers
  27. Cleaning supplies
  28. Craft room

Click here to print off your own checklist. And guess what? I just created an entire Workbook!

I have a daughter who really needs this. She and her husband get so overwhelmed they don’t know where to start first. I really hope I can help them change their lifestyle in more ways than one.

We moved two houses into one 8 years ago. We got rid of a lot then but there is still a lot to do. It’s overwhelming.

This truly sounds like it could help my anxiety. I just cannot seem to get a handle on all of this. I am overwhelmed. I was my mothers caretaker, she has sadly passed, & I have her things, as well as mine. I lived in Chicago for 24 years before coming home to help her. Truly, I am desperate & depressed. I think you could help. Thank you for making me feel hopeful. ❤️

The problem isn’t choosing stuff to get rid of the problem is where it should go.

TV stand…4 items on it plus TV…done
Craft room…oh my goodness, could take up to 2 years to adequately organize and declutter…so much stuff.
I guess the thing to do is repeat the list every month, some days you get off light and others you maybe declutter one shelf or box or item from the tsunami.

Once you declutter – what do your do with the stuff? Our community closets etc are all “busting at the seams”. Don’t know what to do with the stuff. Can’t have a yard sale now – supposed to be social distancing.

I am trying to declutter my Basement and Back room. I started my Back room 2 weeks ago. Then I stopped not sure why. But I am ready to start again. I think I stopped because there fixing up my street replacing pipes and the street is a mess and muddy and the trash man can’t get down my street.

Ask yourself if you’ve used or needed an item in the past year. If not, it’s probably time to let it go. Don’t be afraid to donate, sell, or discard items that no longer serve you.

If you’re considering flooring work, Fifty Floor reviews is a company that specializes in flooring services, including floor replacement. Before hiring them, it’s a good idea to research the company and read reviews from previous clients to get a clear picture of their reputation. Additionally, obtaining multiple quotes from different providers can help you compare prices and services.

I was sick of how stuff started controlling me. A pile of “essentials” building up in every corner, living its own life. You go to grab a towel, and a box from your old job crashes down — diplomas, receipts, tangled wires. None of it helps you live, it just clutters your head. The shift came when I moved into a smaller apartment I got through Rently UAE for a short-term stay. I didn’t take everything with me. I cut it off. No sentiment. Within a month, I got rid of 80% of my junk. Didn’t miss a single thing. And now, finally, the space feels mine — not someone’s dusty archive.
