We’re sharing the number 1 trendiest, most versatile hairstyle for 2020. In the midst of a pandemic quarantine, we can at least dream and plan!
In our family, we look like a gang of wild sheep at the moment. Our hair is cuhraaaazy. Thank goodness no one can see us. We’ve been trying to keep our hair healthy, but the truth is all we’re accomplishing is to keep it out of our eyes using any means necessary. (These are cheap and work great.)
The Hottest 2020 Hairstyle
The shag! Can you believe it?
I dream of the day I see my hairdresser again. Don’t you? I thought it would be fun to start planning for a cut right now. (Try some hairstyles right now using a virtual tool like this one.)
A version of this hairstyle pops up every few years and for good reason. It’s versatile enough for just about anyone and it’s easy to maintain. After years of straight hair, it kind of feels good to know a tousled look is back.
It’s perfect for people with straight hair, thin hair, long hair, thick and curly hair. It looks great no matter your face shape.
The 2020 take on an old favorite is super layered, razored, messy and has loose bangs or long “curtain bangs” which are the kind of bangs you sweep to the side.
Julianne Hough of Dancing With the Stars is stunning in her shag hairstyle, isn’t she? Even though I’m sure there was a brilliant stylist behind the scenes, it looks like she just shook it out and walked onto the red carpet.
Natasha Lyonne always has the craziest, coolest hair. I’m always envious. Her shag is as messy a version as I can think of and it looks beautiful on her.
Taylor Swift is all about the shag, which is reason enough to try it. She looks amazing, as she always does, as seen here in Time Magazine.
Alexa Chung makes every hairstyle look great. The shag is no different!

Meg Ryan looks gorgeous! I love that it looks so simple and easy.

This curly hair shag style is breathtaking, isn’t it? I’m in love. PS: I would KILL to have curly hair like this!

Love it? Hate it? Ask your friends how they think you’d look with it. They’ll give you an honest opinion.

This post would be more helpful if you posted pictures of people who did their hair themselves for a day of work. How long does it take to style? I would like to see what it looks like after a day teaching kids or chairing meetings.
Long hair requires more careful care and good styling is not always possible to do on your own at home. I have to go to this barbershop regularly, where I come out with a haircut that I like.
I wanna try these hairstyles.
