A Halloween Charcuterie Board is a really fun treat to make for the holiday. It’s perfect for a spooky movie night, a costume party, a pumpkin carving party, or just for fun! You can get really creative with these and make something really unique.
How To Make A Halloween Charcuterie Board
When you are making a Charcuterie board (sometimes we call it a snack board since the actual definition for the word charcuterie means cooked meats) you can get super detailed or you can keep it simple. I’m leaving a few fun ideas below for you to use as inspiration.
Choose the type of board you’d like to make (one with candy, one with dips, one with meat and cheese, etc.) and then start planning.
What You Need for a Halloween Themed Charcuterie Board
A Board
A basic wooden cutting board is always easy to use and works great here. Since it’s for a holiday though, you can get more creative and use a Halloween serving tray that’s shaped like a pumpkin or a skull.
Small Bowls
To keep everything from running together you can separate things into small bowls. You can find these condiment or dip bowls at the store and they’re pretty hand to have around.
Accessories
You can have a lot of fun with this at Halloween! You can use plastic cauldrons to hold candy, add fake spiders, a skeleton or these mini plastic bones.
Food
Of course, this is the main part of the whole snack board – the snacks! For Halloween, I love to add:
- candy corn pumpkins
- white chocolate covered pretzels
- Halloween baker cookies
- popcorn with Halloween sprinkles
- Lil Debbie snack cakes in the Halloween and Fall themes
- gummy worms
- Reese’s pieces
- any candy that’s yellow or orange!
Here are some Halloween snack boards for you to check out. Pick one you like and make it your own. Have fun!
