Paityn Luella at six months
Paityn Luella,
Half of your first year has already flown by and you are growing leaps and bounds. Â Six months old in our house means you get to start eating food. Â I started you on sweet potatoes and you were a little weary at first but soon started to devour it. Â You’ve had sweet potatoes, squash, pears and carrots. Â You haven’t turned any of it down. Â I’m happy to say that you are actually eating the baby food that I’m making you, unlike your brother. Â I absolutely love preparing the things that you eat.
You are a rolly polly and will not stay on your back long enough to even get your diaper changed. Â You throw your leg across your body and flop over each and every time. Â It makes me laugh when I’m trying to put on a fresh diaper and you are trying to run from me.
You are head over heals for your brother. Â You think he is hilarious and he can make you laugh like nobody else. Â We all get a huge kick out of watching you laugh so hard at him being goofy because most of the time we aren’t really sure what you think is so funny. Â It is such a joy to watch your relationship form. Â I do have to remind him on occasion that you are a baby girl and he cannot play with you like he can daddy and Matthew. Â Yesterday he decided to have a pillow fight and smacked you in the head with a couch pillow. Â Luckily, you were none the wiser and just continued playing, but mister got in big trouble.
You have one of the best smiles on earth and it is completely contagious. Â You are a very sweet girl that loves to smile and coo at everyone. Â A total heart melter. Â As much work as you are on a daily basis (babies are hard work, miss) you are worth every ounce of it. Â You are worth every hour I don’t sleep and every shirt I have to change because you’ve spit up on me once again. Â You are my sweet girl and I love you more than you can possibly understand.
Love,
Mama
