Today I’m partnering with Worlds of Fun to share my top tips for visiting the park. I’ve been visiting this theme park since I was itty bitty and it’s so fun to go and ride some of the exact same rides with my kids!
My son is a total thrill seeker, desperately trying to grow a little everyday so he can qualify for a new roller coaster. My daughter though, loves to ride rides that are slow and steady with only small amounts of thrill. They both adore World’s of Fun because it has everything.
Since I’ve literally been to this park dozens and dozens of time in my life I thought I would share my top tips and tricks for visiting Worlds of Fun.
The Pre-K Pass.
I’ll bet you had no idea that all kids age 3-5 can visit the park as many times as they want for absolutely free. Yep! It’s called the Pre-K Pass and you can register online at the beginning of the season for a complimentary season pass for the little ones.
Get the Souvenir Bottle.
Right when you get to the park, stop to buy a refillable souvenir cup. Then, for the rest of the day you can stop at any drink stop to refill the cup for free. Let me tell you, you will work up a thirst! They have lots of choices including Powerade, lemonade and water to hydrate you all day.
After you leave though, don’t throw it away. You can reuse the cup all season just paying $1 for each refill after that.
Go Inside for Lunch.
I love all of the food stands around the park but our favorite place to stop for lunch is Coasters Drive In because it’s air conditioned! If you are making your way through the park it is roughly half-way, so it’s a good stopping point to sit down for a rest and soak in the AC.
Planet Snoopy.
I can’t mentioned Worlds of Fun without saying how great Planet Snoopy is for kids. It has 21 rides just for them! Kids can ride these all by themselves and feel like a total grown up riding their tiny roller coasters. My kids favorites are Snoopy’s Rocket Express and Lucy’s Tugboat. If you have young kids you can literally spend your entire World of Fun day right here.
Get a Locker.
If you are planning on doing both Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun in a day, get a locker. You can explore Worlds of Fun first, wearing comfy clothes and sneakers, then stop by your locker to pick up your swimming suits and flip flops.
Also, getting a locker means you aren’t constantly worried about losing your keys somewhere!
Worlds of Fun Village.
We love staying at the cabins and cottages. If you are taking a trip here this is the place to stay. You are right at the park and anytime you feel like you want to stop and take a rest or let the kids nap you can head out and come back when you’re ready!
You are going to have SO much fun at Worlds of Fun!

Airlines often adhere to standard guidelines set by aviation authorities, and SAS is no exception. These guidelines usually consider the length of the delay, with different thresholds triggering various compensation tiers. It’s advisable to review the airline’s official policy for precise details, as compensation amounts can vary based on the specific circumstances. For a comprehensive overview of SAS’s compensation policies, you can refer to AirAdvisor’s website https://airadvisor.com/en/airlines/sas-refund-compensation . This platform provides insights into airline policies and may offer a clearer understanding of the compensation you might be entitled to based on the duration of the delay. It’s crucial to recognize that factors beyond the clock may influence compensation considerations. Weather conditions, technical issues, or unforeseen circumstances may impact the overall process. These considerations are typically outlined in the airline’s terms and conditions, underscoring the complexity of the compensation framework. In summary, whether facing a brief delay or a more prolonged interruption to your travel plans, familiarizing yourself with the guidelines can provide valuable insights into the compensation process.
