Star Spangled Cherry Bombs
Of course we’re making all things red, white and blue for the 4th of July. Every year we end up with a last minute BBQ with friends and family. I don’t know why we never plan it earlier because we wind up doing the same thing every time!
I’m excited to share these with everyone. They are SO sweet and tasty and with a little bit of liquor it’s fun for the grown-ups.
Here Is What You Need
- Maraschino Cherries
- Amaretto
- Marshmallow Fluff
- Blue Sprinkles
How To Make Amaretto Cherries
- Soak cherries in liquor.
- Dip in marshmallow and sugar sprinkles.
You can use a mason jar for the cherries or just drain the cherry juice and re-use that jar.
These cherry bombs are super easy to make, but you do have to prepare a day in advance since you need to soak them overnight. You won’t be able to make these last minute!

Ingredients
Method
- In a jar, soak the cherries in liquor over night.
- Remove cherries from liquor, remove the stem and sit them on a paper towel to dry.
- Insert a toothpick into the cherry, dip into marshmallow fluff and then into sugar.
- Enjoy!
