Hot Honey Recipe (Easy, 4-Ingredients)

You may have seen or tried Mike’s Hot Honey and it’s super tasty. If you’ve had it and wanted to make your own version this is the recipe for you.

One of the great things about making it yourself is you get to decide exactly how you’d like it to taste: a little hotter, less garlic flavoring, etc. You can dial up or down the level of spice to make it just how you prefer it.

Ingredients

Here is what you’ll need to make your own chili Honey right at home. It’s four simple ingredients and only takes a few minutes. So easy!

• Honey
• Chili Flakes – you can also use red pepper flakes
• Minced Garlic
• Peppercorns – crushed

How To Make Homemade Hot Honey

Simply add your ingredients to a sealable glass jar and stir to mix.

If you are more sensitive to spice and aren’t sure how hot you’d like it to be, start with about half the amount of chili flakes and then add more in by the teaspoon until you get the right flavor.

What Goes with Hot Honey?

While I haven’t tried all of the below, hot honey is said to go with just about anything. So give it a whirl with something new and you might just find your tasty favorite food combo.
